- A rework of Kenny Dope and Robert Owens' 'Bricks Down' will drop in January.
A rare remix from Masters At Work, AKA influential NYC house jocks Kenny 'Dope' Gonzalez and Louie Vega, is due out next month.
The duo has remixed "Bricks Down," a collaborative track from Gonzalez and Chicago's Robert Owens—out on the former's recently relaunched label, Dopewax—that's already been reworked by Mr. G and Doc Daneeka. It's the first new material, in any form, from Masters At Work in more than a decade. Gonzalez and Vega have also teamed up for a "Rubber Dubb" mix, credited to KenLou, another alias that's been quiet for years. All four remixes are to be collected on one release.
