  • London's fabric has won its appeal against Islington Council. The council had imposed strict licensing conditions on the Farringdon nightclub, including sniffer dogs at the door and ID scans for all customers. These conditions, which were voted on by the council in December of 2014, had remained pending while the appeal was ongoing. (Although the club trialled ID scans for seven weeks.) The club's appeal against the measures was successful, and the conditions will not be enforced. Photo credit: Nik Torrens
