  • New Order's next single on Mute Records has arrived. It's a cut off Music Complete, the album the UK band released back in September. "Tutti Frutti" appears in a new extended mix, but there's more that's notable about this release. Mute has teamed up with Native Instruments to bring out the track in Stems, the Berlin music software company's open-source, multichannel audio format. They're also making an extended version of "Academic" available in Stems. Of the decision to embrace the new format for the release, Mute CEO Daniel Miller said: "I was really excited when I first heard about Stems so am delighted we're on board with this digital exclusive release from New Order. The band came from the club world in the 80s so for them to be releasing in a format that lets today's club DJs bring their tracks to new audiences, and get creative at the same time, is great." Tutti Frutti and Academic are now available from Mute Records.
