  • Joakim will release a compilation showcasing the music released on his Crowdspacer label in February 2016. The French producer started Crowdspacer in 2012 as a separate project to his long-running Tigersushi label. It has served as an outlet for Joakim's club-oriented material, made solo and in collaboration with artists like Kindness, Crackboy and Alexis Le Tan. Crowdspacer Volume 1 is the label's first digital compilation, bringing together previously vinyl-only material as well as some new music from JHACK (AKA Joakim and Bryce Hackford) and Crackboy. In addition to the compilation, Joakim says he's starting a "techno retrospective mixtapes series"—the mixes will each focus on a year, starting with 1989 and running through until 1999. Joakim will also hit the road with his collaborators for a Crowdspacer tour in 2016. Watch a video for Crowdspacer Volume 1 below.
