- Sugar Hill Disco will host a night with Mahogani Music in Brooklyn on Thursday, December 31st. MeanRed will team up with Moodymann's Magohani Music crew for the New Years edition of their 808 residency this month. Representing the Detroit label are DJs Atlanta's Kai Alcé and tried-and-tested Detroiter Andrés—who spoke to RA's Christine Kakaire last month—as well as Rick Wilhite and Viennese selector Flo Real. Resident DJ Turtle Bugg will round out the bill at Sugar Hill Disco and Supper Club, an intimate restaurant and nightclub in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn.
