  • Acid Test will release a collaboration from John Tejada and Tin Man on February 8th. Tejada released his latest album, Signs Under Test, via Kompakt earlier this year. He was born in Vienna but resides in Los Angeles. Tin Man, a regular fixture of Oliver Bristow's Acid Test label was born in LA and now lives in Vienna. As such, Auvinen came up with an LA theme for the collaborative EP: driving. The three originals on the record deal with life lived on the city's freeway system, including "Diamond Lanes," which refers to an area which can only be driven when riding with at least one passenger besides the driver. The press release says when listening to that track, "you can picture the duo tearing through the iconic 2nd street tunnel out onto the 10 west towards the ocean, leaving the city's warehouse district in their wake." Acid Test duo Achterbahn D'Amour provide a remix.
