  • Awakenings NYC will go down at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Sunday, February 14th. The roving techno festival was founded in Amsterdam in 1997, and has since expanded into an empire of one-off events across Europe. They made their first foray into North America this past summer with their own curated stage at Electric Zoo in New York. The brand's first standalone event in North America will go down over Presidents Day weekend next year at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan, with a lineup topped by Drumcode boss Adam Beyer and label artist Ida Engberg (who will play back-to-back). Pan-Pot are also on the schedule, as well as another back-to-back set from Julia Govor and Kamran Sadeghi. It will go from 10 PM to 6 AM. Pre-sale tickets are available starting December 8th via their official site. Below you can listen to a recording of Beyer and Engberg going back-to-back at DC-10 in Ibiza this past summer.
