  • Cityfox has issued a second statement about its ill-fated Halloween party. The promoter offered refunds to fans who attended the October 31st event, which was shut down following an inspection by New York's fire department (FDNY). They've now moved to further clarify the cancellation with a lengthy statement on Facebook in which they say FDNY's claims about the party's Greenpoint venue "were patently and demonstrably false," adding: "Since we followed the law, have nothing to hide, and alongside many other of our fellow event producers take pride in contributing to the culture and allure of Brooklyn, we’re scheduled to meet with local authorities and officials to correct the record and minimize any impact on our community." You can read the statement in full here. Cityfox also revealed details of its next party, a December 12th event at a TBA location in Brooklyn. The lineup so far features Martin Buttrich, Thugfucker, Nico Stojan, Bedouin, Solar & Galen and Mike Khoury, with more names to be added.
