London-based online radio station NTS is opening a studio in Manchester.
Broadcasting every Sunday starting November 29th, the shows in Manchester will be aired on INT, a new international stream that runs alongside NTS's London programming. The schedule focuses on northern talent, with Swing Ting, Ruf Dug, Madam X, Demdike Stare's Sean Canty, Ancestral Voices, Jon K, Zed Bias and the crew from online retailer Boomkat all involved.
NTS has nurtured a community spirit around its home in Dalston, East London, while offering a wide range of programming that spans jazz, electronic and experimental music. Back in October, NTS had its account taken down from SoundCloud, though its archive of shows can still be heard on the NTS site and over at Mixcloud.
