- Solar-powered festival OFFtheGRID will go down in Melbourne on December 22nd. The one-day event takes place at the Australian Centre For Contemporary Art forecourt and will be entirely powered by solar energy, with all profits going towards "building a renewable energy project in the city of Melbourne." A bunch of local artists will be playing on the day, including Cut Copy (in DJ mode), Tornado Wallace, Banoffee, Prequel and the Wax'o Paradiso crew comprising Andy Hart, Edd Fisher and Simon TK. The party kicks off at midday and runs through until 10 PM.
