  • DJ Sprinkles latest missive on her own Comatonse Recordings is a remix of Simon Fisher Turner's "Shishapangma". Turner's been active as a musician and actor since the early '70s. As of late, the Mute Records affiliate has turned his attention to scoring films. The 12-minute "Shishapangma" was originally part of Turner's soundtrack for The Epic Of Everest, composed for the BFI National Archive's 2013 restoration of the 1924 documentary. The original comprises the A-side. On the flip, Sprinkles presents a Deeperama remix which Boomkat says "sound something like [Arthur Russell collaborator] Peter Zummo doing 11 minutes of deepest house." You can listen to clips over at the retailer's site. Tracklist 01. Shishapangma 02. Shishapangma (Sprinkles' Deeperama) Comatonse Recordings released Shishapangma on November 12th, 2015.
