  • The 12th annual Tomorrow Never Knows festival will take place in Chicago from January 13th through the 17th, 2016. Tomorrow Never Knows is known for events that mix established talent and up-and-comers, focusing mostly on indie rock. The festival spreads across some of the Windy City's key mid-sized venues, including Lincoln Hall, Schubas, The Hideout and the neighboring Smart Bar and Metro. Atop TNK 2016's lineup are bands like San Fermin and The Go! Team, but a clutch of electronic artists will also be on hand. Tobacco, a solo artist affiliated with Ghostly International (not to mention a member of Pittsburgh psych-pop group Black Moth Super Rainbow), gets high billing, and a couple other Ghostly artists, Heathered Pearls and Shigeto, are also confirmed. Ninja Tune's FaltyDL will play a set, and on the local front are Smart Bar residents Justin Long, Nathan Drew Larsen and Sevron.
