- Slackk, Dullah Beatz and Spokes are all on the London grime collective's first wax drop.
Boxed has prepared its first vinyl 12-inch, due for release on December 18th.
The London crew has been one of the premiere names in the resurgent instrumental grime movement, counting producers like Slackk, Mr. Mitch, Oil Gang and Logos among its core roster. They've already released two digital-only compilations, and now they're moving into the vinyl realm with BOXED001, a various artists four-tracker. Slackk collaborates with Dullah Beatz, while Lloyd SB and Spokes also make appearances and Trends remixes the Geeneus classic "Old Skool 2." For their part, the label says the tunes have "all have been road-tested at Boxed and become crowd favourites."
