Dan Lopatin will play six dates around the release of his new LP, Garden Of Delete
Oneohtrix Point Never will head out on an American tour which begins on his home turf of Brooklyn on November 20h.
The prominent US experimentalist (real name Dan Lopatin) has built up an elaborate backstory behind his forthcoming LP for Warp Records, Garden Of Delete. PR for the record revolves around Lopatin's communication with an alien named Ezra. Musically, Lopatin was inspired by his time on the road opening for Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden.
The hometown show will take place at large Williamsburg nightclub Villain. For the West Coast dates, OPN will tour with James Ferraro, who is preparing to release a new album of his own. On the 23rd, he's in Vancouver at Venue. Ferraro and Lopatin then head down the coast, with dates in Seattle, Portland and San Francisco. They wrap up in the former's base, Los Angeles, with a gig at the Regent Theater.
