- The UK producer is revisiting his grime roots on the latest Local Action 12-inch.
T. Williams is releasing an EP as Dread D on November 27th.
Though Tesfa Williams is probably known best for his house music—as part of Deep Teknologi and later as a core member of the PMR roster—his roots are in grime. He used to go by the name Dread D, making beats for the Black Ops crew (headed by up by Jon E Cash), including the classic "Invasion." Now he's going back to Dread D for three new tracks on Local Action, which the label say use "the classic sound kit from his Black Ops days but [combine] it with the studio expertise that he's developed as T. Williams." He also offers up a new version of 2005's "Time Command."
