Rinse will release a three-disc compilation called The Sound Of Rinse FM on November 13th.
Over the course of the past 20 years, the East London radio station has championed grime, dubstep, jungle, UK garage, UK funky and house. The new compilation will cover all these bases, with each CD dedicated to a specific sound. The first disc will showcase rappers and MCs from across the UK, with slots for Wiley, Skepta, Novelist, Section Boyz and Stormzy. Disc two has more of a songwriting lean, featuring FKA twigs, Kelela and Jessy Lanza, while the final CD is aimed squarely at the dance floor. Tracks from Eats Everything, Julio Bashmore, Hot Natured, DJ Haus and Katy B have all made the cut. All the CDs are mixed. The Sound Of Rinse FM will be available digitally and on CD.
