  • New Orleans house and techno crew Antipop's next Kompression party will go down on Saturday, October 31st, to celebrate Halloween. Last month Antipop marked twelve years in operation. They'll be back at Dragon's Den for Halloween with another three-room bash. The Voodoo Kompression will run until 8 AM, and headlining honors go to stalwart UK DJ Eddie Richards. Another native Brit and longtime jock, Pete Bones, who now lives in Florida, will join in the fun, along with Henry Chow, a Houston DJ who helps throw the Rekliner parties, and Denver's Marshall Monica, a resident at that city's nightclub Beta. Carmine P. Filthy, Whats His Face and Antipop residents Unicorn Fukr and Herb Christopher round out the lineup. There's no dress code, but given the occasion, costumes are encouraged. Looking ahead, to Saturday, November 28th, Antipop has scheduled its next Kompression night—that one will feature an extended set from LA scene fixture Doc Martin. For now, tune into Richards' recent two-part contribution to the Cadenza podcast below.
