  • Detroit's Interdimensional Transmissions will host their 15th annual Samhain party on Saturday, October 31st. The Celtic festival and holiday, a precursor to Halloween, also happens to mark the gaining of an extra hour because of the fall time change—so it's an ideal occasion for a party. Once again, Interdimensional Transmissions will take over TV Lounge, this time with a two-part lineup featuring Ectomorph and Claude Young. Ectomorph, the IT duo of BMG and Erika, will play live, a rare local appearance in Detroit that follows a gig at Berlin's Panorama Bar last month. Young, the globetrotting Detroit jock who nowadays resides in Portland, has been recruited for an extended set. The party will run from 9 PM to 2 AM, which means a six-hour session thanks to the time change. Looking ahead to December, Interdimensional Transmissions will head west for an LA edition of their No Way Back party. For now, you can check out our review of last year's Samhain event.
