- The Berlin techno artist will release his next four-tracker on HANDS.
Techno artist Ancient Methods has announced a new EP called Turn Ice Realities Into Fire Dreams.
Ancient Methods is currently the solo project of Michael Wollenhaupt, but it started out as a collaboration between him and fellow Berlin-based producer Baeks. In the project's early days, the pair were very selective with their releases—they dropped only one 12-inch per year, all coming via their own self-titled label. The Ancient Methods sound hasn't changed much since Baeks's departure, with Wollenhaupt continuing to produce raw, heavily swung techno. Wollenhaupt also has a separate project with Regis called Ugandan Methods.
Turn Ice Realities Into Fire Dreams, due out tomorrow (October 9th), sees Wollenhaupt dish out four industrial-tinged dance floor tracks.
