Dixon, Oneohtrix Point Never play Further Future 2016

- The Nevada festival returns next spring, with the Pharcyde, Voices From The Lake and Jam City among other attractions.
- Further Future will hit the Nevada desert for a second time from April 29th through May 1st, 2016. The festival was launched this year by Burning Man collective Robot Heart, fleshing out their usual house and techno sound with ambient and experimental artists. Exact info on location and setting is still forthcoming, but if it's anything like the first edition, you can expect elaborate infrastructure and immersive stage design. The self-described goal for 2016 is to "provide a platform to share this music that you rarely get to see in a live format in one place... curated to accentuate your moods and emotions throughout the day and night." For 2016, they've got heavy-hitters like Dixon and Oneohtrix Point Never lined up, along with Voices From The Lake (and solo sets from members Donato Dozzy and Neel), Hauschka, The Pharcyde and Lusine. On the more dance floor-oriented end of things are Derrick Carter, Matt Tolfrey, Joakim, Jane Fitz and Greg Wilson, with more artists to come.
