George Evelyn will play more than a dozen dates around the US and Canada in the coming weeks.
Nightmares on Wax will spend late October and early November touring the US and Canada.
The name is one of trip-hop's most prominent, not to mention the longest-serving on London institution Warp Records. George Evelyn, who's from Leeds but is based in Ibiza these days, has been Nightmares on Wax's one constant member since its beginnings in the late '80s, and in North America he's got a busy three weeks or so planned out, with 14 DJ gigs confirmed from coast to coast.
First up next Wednesday the 21st is Washington DC, and shows in Denver, Rockdale (Texas), Chicago and Brooklyn will follow over the next four days. More bookings on the eastern half of the continent are lined up for the week after, including Toronto on the 30th and Atlanta on the 31st for Halloween, and another five-night run in early November sees Evelyn tracing a path through Flagstaff, Arizona towards the West Coast by way of Seattle, Vancouver, LA and finally San Francisco on Saturday the 7th.
Looking a little further ahead, to early December, Evelyn will touch down in the Dominican Republic to DJ at Dominican Holidaze, a four-night party whose jamband-heavy lineup includes the Disco Biscuits and Umphrey's Mcgee, along with Lee Foss.
Tickets to the shows in DC, Chicago and Philadelphia are available on RA
