Recon DNB turns 12 in Denver

- Chrissy, Dylan and Homemade Weapons are booked for this weekend's anniversary celebration.
- Denver's Recon DNB crew will throw their twelve-year anniversary party at Bar Standard this Saturday. Recon has been bringing Photek, Om Unit, Loxy, Evol Intent and plenty more drum & bass talent to the Mile High City since 2003. They'll celebrate a dozen years in operation with three out-of-town guests. Longtime UK-born jock Dylan will fly in from his Philadelphia home base for an old-school set, while genre-hopping Chicago selector and all-around dance music guru Chrissy (Murderbot) is billed for a "footwork versus classic jungle" set. Seattle's Samurai Music affiliate Homemade Weapons—his latest record for the Berlin label, Clarion Call, just dropped—is also due for a turn on the decks. Recon's resident DJs and X-ts Emcee will warm things up.
