  • Berlin label Slow Life will release an eight-track compilation titled Chromophore in November. Slow Life has been steadily picking up fans with a consistent output of subtle, DJ-friendly house since launching in 2013. It's managed by a group of Berlin-based Spanish and Italian DJs and producers (Cecilio, DJ Tree, Laurine, P.Villalba and S.Moreira), most of whom are known for solid skills behind the decks and a knack for unearthing rare records. Their label has released five 12-inches so far, most supplied by its best-known producer S. Moreira. Chromophore will see a few new artists enter the Slow Life ranks, with debutants Mick Welch and Luis Malon handling the first disc's A-side. There's also a new track from veteran US house producer Seafoam, a cut from UK act A², plus new selections from S.Moreira and Saverio Celestri. Listen to snippets via the player below.
