Mala lands at Deep Space New York

- The Digital Mystikz don will play a one-off US gig at François K's Monday night at Cielo next week.
- Deep Space will host Mala at Cielo in Manhattan on Monday, September 21st. Dubstep hero Mala—also known as one-half of Digital Mystikz—has been quiet on the release front in the last two years, focusing instead on his own Deep Medi label, which has kept up an ambitious release schedule in 2015. Most recently the imprint dropped Volume 1, a joint LP from relative newcomers Kahn, Commodo and Gantz. Mala will return to Deep Space next week, the long-running Monday night residency run by François K, which has hosted his sets on numerous occasions. It will be his only North American appearance on this visit. François will spin as well, with an opening set by Roots & Future label boss and recent New York transplant DJ Madd.
