Carl Cox cancels Circoloco appearance due to fractured ankle

- "It is with deep regret that I have been told I can not fly back to Ibiza until my treatment is finished," Cox said in a statement.
- Carl Cox has cancelled his upcoming gig at Circoloco in Ibiza this coming Monday, September 14th. Cox's appearance at the popular DC-10 party is one of the highlights of the Ibiza summer calendar. According to a statement, the techno veteran fractured his ankle a few weeks ago and has been ordered by doctors back to the hospital for further treatment, meaning he won't be able to make his flight. Cox called Circoloco his "home away from Space Ibiza," referring to his residency at the Playa d'en Bossa super club, which he says he will be able to return to the day after Circoloco. "Please accept my sincere apologies for not being there," he said. "It is one of the highlights of my year and is in no way a reflection on DC-10 me not being able to play.I truly am disappointed I can not be at the show with you but I need to make sure that my health is taken care of first of so I can be back at full capacity."
