Justin Martin billed for Layer Cake BBQ

- The San Francisco DJ will head to Kalamazoo later this month.
- Kalamazoo promoter Layer Cake Presents will throw a BBQ party at The Mix on Sunday, September 27th, with Justin Martin headlining. Layer Cake has hosted a handful of Dirtybird affiliates at The Mix, including Ardalan and Christian Martin (Justin's brother and a fellow label co-founder) so far in 2015. For their first Layer Cake BBQ, they'll take over the venue's parking lot (with pop-up bars, food vendors and local merchants) for a seven-hour daytime bash with the music starting at 2 PM. Along with Martin, a squad of local western Michigan jocks will hit the decks, including Zach Bletz from the duo Gettoblaster, Corridor 94 and DJ Cookin'. An afterparty will follow inside, running until 2 AM. Tickets to the Layer Cake BBQ are available on RA.
