  • Glasgow cornerstone Sub Club is starting its own imprint, Nautilus Rising, on October 15th. Sub Club has been a staple of Glasgow nightlife for 28 years now, noted for its emphasis on local residents as well as international headliners. Optimo are regulars at the venue, along with the Numbers crew and the Saturday night Subculture party which Sub Club claims is the "longest running weekly house and techno night on the planet." The first EP is a various artists affair featuring a handful of Scottish producers, including Lord Of The Isles, Vince Watson, Alex Smoke and Stephen Lopkin. It'll come out on vinyl in mid-October with a digital release to follow in November. They'll launch the record label tomorrow with a Boiler Room session at the venue featuring three of the four artists who appear on the EP along with Subculture residents Harri & Domenic.
