  • Moufang (Move D) and Czamanski (of Juju & Jordash) will release Live In Seattle via Further Records on October 30th. The two producers have previously flexed their improvisational muscles as two-thirds of Magic Mountain High. For the 2013 Seattle show featured on the forthcoming record, the duo set up on unfamiliar equipment at the 1927 Events showspace. The press release says the set captures the duo "working at the zenith of their improvisational powers for a rabid crowd," moving from ambient to techno territory. Though live albums are a bit of an anomaly in the dance music world, Moufang's duo with Jonah Sharpe, Reaganz, dropped a live album via The Bunker New York last year. Live In Seattle will be available as a double-CD or an LP with 15 and 17-minute excerpts on each side. The A-side can be heard over at the label's Bandcamp. Listen to a clip of side B below.
