  • Daniel Lanois and Rocco Deluca will perform at Temporary Space LA on August 29th. The Canadian-born Lanois has had a hand in some massive albums over the years—he co-produced U2's The Unforgettable Fire as well as The Joshua Tree alongside Brian Eno, to name just two. The pedal steel guitarist also contributed to Eno's pioneering ambient records On Land and Apollo: Atmospheres And Soundtracks. More recently, Lanois released a solo record called Flesh And Machine on Anti- last year. At Temporary Spaces, he'll be joined by Musician's Friend, the new duo formed of synth heads M. Geddes Gengras and Brian Foote. Rounding out the bill is LA-based Kranky affiliate Ken Camden, who dropped his latest LP Dream Memory back in June. Check out the event link below for RSVP information. Listen to a live set from Camden over at Dublab, an online radio station that's sponsoring the show.
