- Friction's label will launch a compilation series focused on spotlighting new artists in September.
Shogun Audio will release a new compilation called Point Of Origin on September 11th.
Point Of Origin follows in the footsteps of Shogun's previous compilation series, Way Of The Warrior, though this one has a specific concept: showcasing the "rising stars of drum & bass across the musical horizon." The first volume features a few familiar faces, like Need For Mirrors, Zero T and Ed:it, as well as handful of younger artists like Caleco, Safire, Nickbee and Posij. Shogun promises "an album spanning from ferocious big room beats to sultry summertime rollers."
