Sydney label IF? Records will celebrate its 20th anniversary with two parties this August.
Established in 1995 by Melbourne techno head Andrez Bergen, AKA Little Nobody, the operation migrated to Tokyo with Bergen in 2001 before settling down in Sydney around four years ago under the new command of local artistSebastian Bayne. Things will come full circle as the 20th birthday shows will also Bergen's final two gigs before retiring as a DJ. IF? will first take over the Dug Out, the basement of Sydney's Burdekin Hotel, on August 15th, where Bergen and Bayne will be joined by local techno comrade Gabe Fernandes. Bergen will then head down to My Aeon in Melbourne on the 29th, where he'll share a bill with Sigha and the Machine crew for his last gig.
