Felix Da Housecat's Resurrection album for Crosstown Rebels is dropping on September 18th.
News of the LP, produced under Felix Stallings' Aphrohead alias, emerged back in May with the release of a single called Grown Man Cry. Now, full details have been revealed. Stallings says his Aphrohead material is inspired by labels like Dance Mania, Transmat and Axis. "I missed making techno and Chicago jackin' beats," the producer says. "I call this sound I'm working on Train Music because once it's on the groove, I like it to remain on tracks—no breaks, no gimmicks, just straight driving force."
