  • Robert Henke has been named as a guest lecture in a new online course about Ableton Live. The course is offered through Kadenze, an online learning platform that "brings together educators, artists, and engineers from leading universities across the globe to provide world-class education in the fields of art and creative technology." This one comes from the California Institute For The Arts, which has offered Live-centric courses on sound production for the last seven years. Though the head instructor on the course is Jordan Hochenbaum, professor of music technology at CalArts, lectures on sound design from Henke, a founder of Ableton and one of Live's longest-running and most prominent users, are said to make up a significant part of the instruction. Henke also gives an extended interview as part of the course on the history of Ableton. The course can be taken for CalArts credit. You can find out more information on it here and in the video embedded below.
