  • Loop is coming to Berlin this October 30th through November 1st. It's billed as "a summit for music makers," featuring three days packed with "performances, talks, and interactive workshops aimed at exchanging ideas at the cutting edge of music, creativity, and technology." (It'll also feature nighttime events put on in partnership with CTM.) Ableton, makes of the popular Live DAW, are heading up the event. A number of luminaries have already signed on to be part of the festival, including Robert Henke (AKA Monolake), Daniel Miller of Mute Records, Matthew Herbert, Holly Herndon, James Holden, Electric Indigo and Create Digital Music scribe Peter Kirn. Tickets are available to the general public, but they'll be distributed via a lottery system, which you can register for here.
