Amsterdam's Voltt Loves Summer celebrates ten years in 2015

  • This year's Voltt Loves Summer festival in Amsterdam will take place on Saturday, August 29th. 2015 sees Voltt celebrate its tenth anniversary. The festival's first edition in 2006 attracted 1500 partygoers—by 2014 that number had swollen to 20,000. The action will be go down at NDSM Docklands, a former shipyard in Amsterdam, starting at 11 AM and running through until 11 PM. There will be six stages, one of which will be hosted by Amsterdam favourite San Proper. The lineup spans various shades of house and techno, with the likes of Adam Beyer, Loco Dice, DJ Koze, Scuba, Mano Le Tough, Axel Boman, Raresh, Recondite, Objekt, Ryan Elliott, Tin Man, James Ruskin, Steve O'Sullivan, The Field, Roman Flügel, Boddika, Leon Vynehall, FunkinEven and recent ORIGINS film subject Bambounou all billed. There's plenty of local talent too, including Awanto3, Cinnaman and Patrice Bäumel. In addition to the music, there will be a photo exhibition at the festival celebrating ten years of Voltt.
