  • Parisian promoter Sonotown has ended its collaboration with Monseigneur's owners. Monseigneur, which opened last September, was originally a joint operation between Sonotown—who's also behind the 75021 parties and La Machine du Moulin Rouge's programming—and event production and venues group Le Baron. They took over a former Russian cabaret, giving local crews exposure alongside international artists like Alexander Nut, Andrés, Move D, Anthony Naples and Sven Weisemann. Sonotown says it's ending its collaboration with the venue's owners due to unpaid fees. The Sonotown crew was taking care of the venue's artistic direction, production and communication. Though the future of the Place de Clichy venue remains uncertain, Sonotown will open a new club later in 2015. An official announcement will be made by the end of the summer.
