  • Auxiliary and Samurai Music are launching a new imprint called Grey Area. Grey Area comes at a busy time for Berlin outfit Samurai, which recently announced two more labels added to its ever-expanding family. This one is a collaboration with Auxiliary, run by San Diego-based ASC, and it seizes on the more experimental aspects of both labels. The new platform will feature no artist or track information on any of its releases (nor any 'tempo guarantee"), and they promise "super upfront experimental music truly pushing boundaries." The first volume is on the way, and comprises tracks heard in recent mixes by Samurai boss Presha and ASC, according to the former's Facebook post. Presha first revealed the concept to TEA And Techno last year. You can read the full interview here and check out the accompanying Grey Area mix below.
Grey Area will release Grey Area 001 soon.
