Details of Binh and Onur Özer's debut album as Treatment have emerged.
The Berlin-based pair first linked up for a release as Treatment in July last year. The self-released 12-inch comprised two heady, side-long minimal house workouts, crafted live in the duo's shared studio. Judging by the snippets available at Energy Flash Distribution, Treatment 02 explores a more electro-oriented sound than that record, with nine untitled tracks spread over two slabs of wax.
The new direction will come of little surprise to fans of the pair's individual DJ sets—they're both well-known for delving into classicist electro while on the decks, something Philip Kearney noted in a review of a recent Treatment label night in Berlin. The vinyl-only release is due out in September. In the meantime, you can hear samples via the player below.
