  • Fourth World will go down at an undisclosed warehouse location on Saturday, July 4th. Now back for its second year, the Fourth World lineup reads like a rolodex of Brooklyn's left-leaning DIY electronic music scene. Top billing for this year's "communal celebration of local independents"—as organizers put it—goes to Shawn O' Sullivan, a producer and performer with ties to W.T. Records, Fifth Wall and Anthony Parasole's The Corner imprint. The bill also includes local favorites Aurora Halal, Huerco S., Jahiliyya Fields, Entro Senestre, Bookworms, Analog Soul, Hank Jackson, Austin Cesear, John Barera and Volvox, among over a dozen other live acts and DJ sets. The 18-hour party, which has a "liberal open grill policy," will kick off at a roof location TBA and move indoors by night. Tickets are available on RA.
