  • Andrés will headline the next Moony Habits party at 1203 W 4th St on June 19th. This spring, Andrés returned with Believin', a three-track EP which RA's Kit MacDonald said maintained his "knack for warm, disco-meets-jazz-meets-house." As a DJ, the drummer from detroit is similarly genre-blind, mixing in funk, soul and brazilian music while drawing on his past as a disc jock for Detroit hip-hop unit Slum Village. Moony Habits, which seeks to draw connections between the house, techno and beat scenes, has also tapped Mark de Clive-Lowe to perform live with his live unit CHURCH. The New Zealand-born LA resident released an album of the same name last year. Tickets to Moony Habits are available on RA. --
