- The producer's first LP will arrive on Function's label in June.
Function's Infrastructure New York label is releasing an album from Post Scriptum on June 22nd.
Post Scriptum is a new addition to the label's roster, and Post Scriptum 01 is the producer's first LP. Function introduced the artist in his recent Berghain 07 mix, which featured a tune called "Human Timescales." The debut live show from Post Scriptum took place at the mix's launch party at Berghain back in May.
Post Scriptum 01 draws some sonic and thematic inspiration from Jeff Mills's sci-fi techno. A press release says the record "evokes imagery of the ongoing human quest for survival, on this world and eventually others." It features photographs by Swiss artist Julian Charrière taken at a former Soviet nuclear testing ground.
