  • Kobosil will play his first Australian shows at the end of this month. The Berlin artist has made a significant impact in the two years since his first release on his own RK label. Kobosil's productions have found their way onto labels like MDR and Ostgut Ton, while his work behind the decks has earned him a regular slot at Berghain. His first visit down under begins at The Bridge Hotel in Sydney on June 26th. Trench, a local techno outfit who have partied with acts like Developer, Drumcell and Inigo Kennedy, will be celebrating their second birthday with Kobosil plus residents Gabriel Fernandes, Methodix and XXX from 10 PM. The following night he'll head down to My Aeon in Melbourne where Machine and Silo will team up to host the show with David Mummery, Simon Slieker and Andrew Till. Tickets to the Sydney show are available here on RA. Update: Kobosil will no longer be appearing in Australia this weekend due to health issues. A post on his facebook page reads:
"Unfortunately I can’t travel to Australia this weekend. I was really looking forward to make my australian debut in melbourne and sydney but due to severe health problems, the doctor has advised me not to take any long flights to prevent further damage. My agency will do everything possible to reschedule the shows in the near future."
