  • More details of the first release on Floating Points's new Melodies sublabel have emerged. Floating Points announced details of the new venture on NTS Radio late last year. Back then, he stated that the Eglo offshoot had been set up to "celebrate anthems" and revealed details of its first release, a reissue of the sought-after 1979 soul 7-inch Rock Don't Stop / I Think I'm Falling In Love With You by little-known seven-piece Taxie. The forthcoming release will land as a 12-inch, and it's accompanied by a 16-page magazine. You can hear "Rock Don't Stop" in full below, and check out a sample of the B-side over at Juno. No release date has been set, but you can expect it to hit stores shortly.
