- The new EP, out on the enigmatic producer's own imprint, drops in June.
Rrose will release For Aquantice via EAUX on June 22nd.
The producer dropped Having Never Written A Note For Percussion, her reading of James Tenney's experimental drone piece, via Further Records earlier this spring. For Aquantice is the first new music on EAUX of 2015 and follows last year's three-track Eating The Other. The new EP seemingly signals a return to immersive and dark techno following the more conceptual and ambient bent of the Further LP. Juno Plus says "notes attached to the record suggest these productions find Rrose channelling similar levels of 'modulated peaks and belly-churning valleys' to previous Eaux transmissions."
You might recognize "Signs" from Function's Berghain 07 mix, which was released yesterday.
