Holy Mountain to host Karin Dreijer Andersson

- Lauren Flax and Jubilee will join the lineup at Ladyfag's party in Manhattan this Saturday.
- Ladyfag's Holy Mountain party will return to Slake this Saturday, May 23rd. The lineup is topped by Karin Dreijer Andersson of both Fever Ray and The Knife, who will share the decks with the Venezuelan-born, Stockholm-based selector Dgeral. Local celebrities Lauren Flax and Jubilee are also on the bill alongside Michael Magnan, Nita Aviance and Greg K. of the Misshapes, among others. This big-budget queer event—which tends to emphasize the aesthetic as well as the sonic—boasts four stages across two floors and a spread of psychedelic installations and visuals based on the cult-favorite Jodorowsky film of the same name. This month has an intergalactic theme, and costs ten dollars all night if you bring a "serious Fleet Week or space look," the promoters say (and more without).
