- Distal's label will release the UK producer's third album in July.
Silkie will drop his next album on July 14th.
Fractals comes via Anarchostar, the label that Distal started last summer as the home for an ongoing "space opera," which began with that artist's album in the fall. Silkie's LP is the next chapter, and "will play host to a different, more cosmic, wide range of ideas and influences," according to the label.
The record "tells the story of an exploited musician who is transported weekly to the wealthy club-pods orbiting his dying home. Although he has been brought up and exists only to believe himself lower than those above him, his music is sacred to a technological ceremony that can prolong the lives and souls of those who wish it."
Silkie, real name Soloman Rose, is a stalwart of the dubstep scene, making a name with funk and jazz-influenced dubstep for Deep Medi, including the two City Limits albums.
