- Earthly's new LP, out in July, will be the Alabama label's first foray into the world of wax.
Noumenal Loom will release its first vinyl album on July 24th.
The Alabama-based label (and self-described art press) was founded back in 2013 and has dropped tapes from the likes of PHORK, Caroline Says, Holly Waxwing and Giant Claw. Now they're moving onto wax with Days, the first album from North Carolina duo Edaan Brook and Brint Hansen. The label compares the LP with classic-era Black Dice, Vancouver's 1080p collection and video game music, adding that "Brook and Hansen's years of friendship translate into a colorful chemistry of pitch-shifted voices, wobbly rhythms, and iridescent textures, in a constant state of flux." Check out "Glaze" below.
