- After Tuesday's name change, the SoundCloud account that formerly held a goldmine of early Aphex tunes has been emptied.
It looks like Aphex Twin's SoundCloud exploits have come to an end, at least for now.
In case you've been living under a rock, a SoundCloud account called user48736353001 has been periodically uploading demos and early tracks from Aphex Twin over the past few months. After a spurt of new activity over the weekend, the user48736353001 became Caustic Window, while the existing tunes moved over to 8user48736353001.
As of today, both usernames are empty, with 8user48736353001 simply reading "AFX deleted his account" (as well as the all-caps note "I AM NOT RICHARD"). If you missed out on your chance to wade through the archives, you can still stream all the tracks on YouTube.
