- The next instalment of the Lisbon-focused series features DJ Lilocox, Nidia Minaj and DJ Firmeza.
Warp will drop the second CARGAA 12-inch on May 18th.
The EP trilogy launched last month as a way to highlight the wave of music coming out of Lisbon, which encompasses kuduro, tarraxinha, house and other genres. The first volume featured scene staples like DJ Marfox and DJ Nigga Fox, while the second edition "delves even further into the remarkable corners of this unique sound" according to the label, "from the creeping ‘tarraxo’ of Lilocox and Maboku to the stark minimalist punch of Puto Anderson and the lilting fourth-world atmospherics of Alto Nivel Produc¸o~es." Bordeaux transplant Nidia Minaj also makes an appearance.
