Groove Armada have a two-disc release called Little Black Book coming via Moda Black in July.
The Little Black Book series falls somewhere between album, mix CD and compilation. (The only previous edition to date came from Hot Since 82 in 2013.) For their instalment, Groove Armada have filled the first disc with their own original music and remixes, including seven exclusive tunes. The second disc features remixes of their music by other artists, with the likes of Joris Voorn, Kolsch and Huxley all on board. An account of the duo's journey "from Castlemorton to L.A." penned by Andy Cato is also included in the package.
"People were saying if you're going to write new material you need to put it out on a major, get the band back together, unleash the machine," the duo say. "But we don't want to do that. We want to play and make house music, and that's all."
